Update: His Majesty’s State Visit to Vietnam—MoU on Air Services Agreement Signed
On August 19, 2025, a significant milestone in diplomatic relations was marked during His Majesty The King’s State Visit to Vietnam. In the presence of His Majesty The King of Bhutan and the President of Vietnam, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on an Air Services Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of Bhutan and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction.
The MoU aims to foster closer aeronautical cooperation between Bhutan and Vietnam. By promoting mutual understanding, the agreement seeks to open new avenues for enhanced air connectivity and stronger bilateral ties, ultimately benefiting travelers and businesses in both nations.
