This morning, Their Majesties The Druk Gyalpo and Gyaltsuen joined Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand at Kuenselphodrang for a special prayer ceremony at the Buddha Dordenma. Thousands gathered to receive blessings and view sacred relics, including a precious relic of Lord Buddha gifted by His Majesty the King of Thailand to Bhutan.

In a beautiful display of unity, 74 monks from Thailand and 74 monks from Bhutan offered prayers and lit a thousand butter lamps for the wellbeing of the Thai monarchs. Later, Their Majesties visited Dechenchholing to explore collaborative Royal Project initiatives, strengthening ties between Bhutan and Thailand.

The King and Queen of Thailand are currently on a four-day State Visit, symbolizing the deep and enduring friendship between the two nations.
